Weekend of Action
Friday-Sunday, July 17-19—Good Trouble Lives On, a Weekend of Action in honor of Congressman John Lewis, this will be a national continuation of the “Fight for Voting Rights!”.
“Good Trouble Lives On” is a national day of action, a movement honoring Lewis’ legacy of peaceful, nonviolent resistance www.goodtroubleliveson.org+2. Coined by Lewis himself, “Good Trouble” refers to the moral duty to challenge injustice through collective, lawful action.
The 2026 events aim to:
- Teach communities about the fight for voting rights.
- Reach out to neighbors to join the movement.
- Preach the moral necessity of continuing the civil rights struggle www.goodtroubleliveson.org.
