United We Stitch: Creating Unity Through Art
Quilters and artists in Vermont are invited to participate in a nationwide community art project. On Sunday, September 20, 2026, in honor of the International Day of Peace, there will be a display, in all 50 states, in unison across timezones, of textile panels reflecting the hopes and dreams of the American people for this unique country of ours.
Indivisible Mad River Valley is hosting the project in Vermont–an exhibit of 50+, flag-sized cloth panels on the VT State House lawn on September 20th. Learn more about the project at United We Stitch. All Vermonters are invited to create panels. Sign up to create a panel.
