On the 6th anniversary of his death, we join the nation in honoring civil rights icon and Congressman John Lewis, who spent decades bravely confronting and challenging voter suppression and other injustices through peaceful, nonviolent action (“Good Trouble”). In the legacy of John Lewis, it is our turn now to make Good Trouble, and that includes taking peaceful, nonviolent action to protect voting rights in our nation.
At our Good Trouble Rally, we will honor the legacy of John Lewis. Protect Voting Rights! Oppose Voter Suppression! Join us for this sign waving protest (and signs about voting rights are encouraged), inspirational speakers (you can still join in), and information tables. We’ll wrap up at Two Heroes Brewery and Public House next door.
