1st Amendment Celebration, 1:30
First Amendment Celebration: At the Film House at Main Street Landing, on the Burlington waterfront, 1:30 to 3:30. In honor of U.S. Constitution Day, Third Act Vermont is hosting an event, free and open to the public, focused on our First Amendment freedoms of speech and of the press. Presenters include: Anna Gomez, FCC Commissioner; Jesse Wegman, New York Times journalist and Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice; Meghan O’Rourke, Executive Director, CCTV Center for Media and Democracy; and Anne Galloway, Founder and former Executive Director and Editor of VT Digger.
