ICI participated joyfully in our second July 4 Parade, in South Hero, an inspiring reminder of how wonderful our Democracy is!
Marilyn comments… Indivisible Champlain Islands had a superlative entry in the South Hero Parade on the Fourth! There were over 30 Indivisibles marching with banners, and flags. There was a giant “Happy Birthday America” card for spectators to sign. There were flags, and bikes, and dogs, and a decorated truck! There was music. Everyone had so much fun. And the response from the crowd was incredible – people clapped and stood up and cheered as our group went by. They thanked us for what we are doing. Here are a short movie and some photos to enjoy!
And, hopefully, some will even decide it is time to join us. We have about 500 members here in the Islands, so far. That’s amazing, but we will need even more to defend the election and election results in November.
