BECCA BALINT IN NORTH HERO: Some of you might be interested in the “Summer Social” event next Thursday in North Hero. Our own US Representative, Becca Balint will be there. It is a fundraiser for the Grand Isle Democratic Party.

FRIDAY DEFEND DEMOCRACY: We have the power. We have power when we vote. We have power when we show up to protest. We have power when we speak up to defend our neighbors, or to expose the lies.
A couple weeks ago they counted the # of cars that drove by this weekly event and saw our message: 1700 cars!!! What a powerful way to spread the message!
Exercise your power on Friday at our Defend Democracy Protest in South Hero at 4:00, near the Worthen Library. Here is a message from the Leaders of this action:

John and I hope to see a record number of Indivisibles and friends who want to collectively send a message to our national government…We will not let you destroy our democracy!
We will shout, we will sing and we will show everyone who drives by that we care and love our amazing United States. We will not let it slide into a fascist dictatorship. We will vote and we will push back and we will win!
