On July 4th we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday! 250 years of progress toward The American Dream of equal rights and opportunities for all Americans.
The American Revolution-The Abolition of Slavery-Women’s Suffrage-The Civil Rights Act-The Voting Rights Act-The Marriage Equality Act are giant leaps American activists have made and defend.
Once again this progress is not only being threatened but being reversed by the forces of greed, hate and ignorance. Once again we must stand up and resist.
On July 4th we have an opportunity to demonstrate our undeniable support and defense of our belief in liberty and justice for ALL by walking with our ICI brothers and sisters in the South Hero Fourth of July Parade.
We will line up at the intersection of Landon Rd. and South Street at 10:45. There are signs and banners available.
The greater the number – The stronger the message so please join us.
