Local Food Bank

The Federal policies we’re working to change are making daily life harder in the Champlain Islands right now — for seniors on fixed incomes, for families stretched thin by rising costs, for neighbors who are struggling. Pushing for change and the preservation of Democratic values is ICI’s primary goal. But meanwhile, while we wait for policy to catch up with need, we show up for each other.

Not all action looks like a protest. Some of it looks like stocking shelves at the Food Bank. ICI raised $1,594 in cash donations and took in 774 pounds of food and goods in May.  And we gained another new ICI member.
