NO KINGS 3 DAY IS TOMORROW, SATURDAY, MARCH 28
NO KINGS! NOT THEN, NOT NOW, NOT EVER!
IN AMERICA, NO ONE MAN RULES.
WE REJECTED TYRANNY IN 1776 AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT IT NOW!
Here are some last minute details:
The Indivisible Champlain Islands event starts at 12:45 pm at the Sandbar State Park
Register (if you want) and get more details at: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/915838/
Parking is free, inside the State Park.
Remember:
— Bring 3 friends
— Carpool, if you can
— Bring your signs and bells
— Dress warmly; it will be chilly tomorrow – but dry!
— Feel free to add a flag or other freedom symbol to your car for the drive to St. Albans
At 2:00 we will proceed to Taylor Park in St. Albans to join with other towns from around the region for a NO KINGS Rally and Democracy Fair, beginning at 3:00 pm. Registration and information for this event can be found at: https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/909230/
We have just received the following parking and general information from the organizers of the St. Albans event:
We are glad you decided to participate in the NO KINGS ST. ALBANS rally! We would like to share some last minute details and parking information with you. We remind participants that this will be a non-violent and peaceful event. If you should encounter any trouble, please locate a marshal (wearing yellow vests and red armbands) to assist you. Should you encounter any counterprotesters, we ask that you do not engage and seek help from a marshal. Saturday’s weather looks to be on the very chilly side, so please dress very warmly. The rally will kick off at 3:00 so allow yourself enough time to find a place to park and get into the park. There will be many organizations, vendors, and food trucks (with warm drinks!) at this event, so feel free to browse as you wait for the rally to begin.
Parking Please carpool if you can. Church St. will be closed during the event for the safety of the participants. The parking spaces along Church St. as well as the church parking lots are reserved for speakers, vendors, and food trucks. You can find parking at the Food City/Dollar General lot, the Courthouse lot, and the parking garage, all accessible from Lake St. (Note: the Courthouse lot and the parking garage have a fee of $1.00/hour) The north lot of BFA St. Albans is also available for parking and accessed from Fairfield St. Street parking is also available where permitted. The Park and Ride located at the junction of Fairfield St and Route 104 is also available for parking, but is about a .8 mile walk away from Taylor Park.
VIRTUAL EVENT:
If you are unable to attend No Kings 3 in person, due to physical limitations, childcare responsibilities, or other reasons, you can attend a virtual No Kings 3 event sponsored by Stand Up For Science from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at https://www.standupforscience.net/sufs-nk3
