Sometimes things just get stuck in my craw and I have to write them down to get any peace. Today it is the unfathomable misuse of our tax dollars! Feel free to share.

OR, AT LEAST, IT WAS
Trump promised to save taxpayer money by cutting “waste and fraud”.
DOGE was supposed to cut government spending.
The Trump Administration spent MORE in 2025 then the Biden Administration spent in 2024!
The Trump Administration is spending MORE each month in 2026 than it did for the same months in 2025.
SOME OF THE GOVERNMENT SPENDING ITEMS IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION:

– $485 Million – 12 New, luxury jets for DHS, rarely used (Senate Appropriations Committee – Aug 2026)
– $220 Million – DHS Ad campaign featuring Kristie Noem
– $5.1 Million – To cover 4 huge statues in D.C. with 23.75 K gold
– $400 Million – Est taxpayer portion of “ballroom” project.
Congress denied request to spend $1 Billion for Security for the project. Construction is ongoing. Final cost expected to be higher.
– $16 Million – Reflecting Pool ‘renovation’.
– $100 Million (current est.) for giant Trump Arch (which will house snipers and drones aimed at DC, and large amounts of “ammo” according to Trump)
– $12 Billion – Paid to foreign companies to kill off-shore wind energy projects (does not include the future increase in electricity costs which would have been offset by these projects)
– $10 Billion – (That’s Billion, with a B) for “Presidential Capitol Stewardship Fund” (? I don’t know either, but it seems to be whatever Trump wants to spend a boatload of your money on)
– $430 Million PER DAY in extra cost for gas that Americans are spending since beginning of Iran War (est. $3.75 Million for every penny increase in cost of gas). Does not include heating fuel.
Americans have spent over $100 BILLION extra on gas and diesel since start of Iran War.
– $2,500 – estimated per household cost of Trump Administration Tariffs so far. Some states are impacted more than others.
– $343 Billion total cost of Tariffs, so far. (Tariffs are a tax on businesses and consumers).
– $43 Billion to $113 Billion cost of Iran War so far. The low number was reported by the Pentagon this week, but does not include many costs, such as fuel. Neither number includes the damage to the dozens of US military bases and embassies in eight countries in the Middle East. Hundreds of buildings were damaged or destroyed. Many bases are unusable. Dozens of aircraft and drones were destroyed. The keystone base for the US Middle East fleet at Bahrain is one that is now unusable. We do not put a price tag on the 18 Military personnel that have been killed or the 820 US service members who have been wounded in action so far. The cost estimates also do not include the cost of future care for injured veterans from this war.

This list could be expanded to cover dozens of pages. Or more. None of these expenditures benefit the American people.
Congress has a duty to control how the US government spends money. This Republican Congress (both US House and US Senate) have declined to put any restrictions on the needless expenditures of the Trump Administration.
If you are not happy with the facts in the above list, I’m sorry. The money is gone. However, you do have the ability to stop future waste, and the destruction of the US economy.
On November 3rd, YOU CAN VOTE.
YOU CAN VOTE TO TAKE POWER AWAY FROM REPUBLICAN CONTROL AND FLIP BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS.
THE REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED CONGRESS HAS LOST THE RIGHT TO GOVERN, BY REFUSING TO DO THEIR JOB OF BEING A CHECK ON AN OUT-OF-CONTROL EXECUTIVE BRANCH.
VOTE! VOTE EARLY! CALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND TELL THEM TO VOTE TO REMOVE REPUBLICANS FROM CONTROL OF CONGRESS ON NOVEMBER 3RD.
