3/29/26. No Kings 3 protests: St Paul, Boston, SH

Hello Indivisibles,

Attachments & Links: No Kings Flagship event in St. Paul; Boston Common event; Our NK3 Sand Bar event.

What a day yesterday!!  All across the country.  First estimates are that over 8 million people turned out (8,000,000). That is a lot of voices raised against this administration!  At our event at the Sandbar, we counted 250 who came out to be part of this resistance.  In St. Albans, I have heard that 1000 came.  Numbers will be coming in and verified as the week goes on.

I hope you were able to join a No Kings event in person.  It is truly empowering to be with so many people willing to stand up and do the work of saving our Democracy.  If you are interested in seeing the No Kings Flagship event in St. Paul, here is the link:

You can find Bruce Springstien right after Gov Walz about 1 hr, 45 min.  And Bernie Sanders is at 2 hr, 30 min.  They had over 100,000 people there – an amazing sight!

My daughter sent me some photos/videos from Boston Common.  They were really rocking there!  The Dropkick Murphys were in full attack mode.  Boston: Where the revolution started 250 years ago.  They haven’t lost any of that “No Kings here” spirit.  Here is a short clip from the Boston Globe:

And if you are still wondering if any of this matters, will it really make a difference, here is a message I received from one of our ‘summer’ members who is currently in FL:A quick note to share an upbeat report from one site of the Sarasota protests happening today….

– it was HUGE in comparison with prior events. In the winter of 2025 we started with less than 75 protesters . Today there were many , many thousands.uh
– last year there were few honks and many fingers. This year the air was filled with car horns all the time and great enthusiasm from cars passing by. Very few fingers, even from young men. I would say the majority of women passengers gave us some positive indication today.

Something is radically different here, something has changed judging from the street side in Sarasota today.

Thought you might like to know!

As Ezra Levin (co-founder of Indivisible) often says, “We are going to make a change in the political weather”.  And so we are.  Last month, I received an email from another summer member who is closer to Miami, with very similar news about the change in support in FL.

So, right now, this week, this Spring, we need to make this movement stronger.  We do that by adding people to our group, and by helping the people in our group find even more meaningful ways to support this struggle to strip power from this Administration and return it to The People.  We need you to talk to people who may not know about Indivisible, who may not care about politics, who may have voted for Trump but don’t like what he is doing.  Ask them if they went to No Kings.  Ask them if they are worried, or angry about what is happening in our country.  And tell them that, yes, they CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.  And Indivisible, or other organizations, can show them how.   Please.  There is no time to lose.  We need more people to be involved.

Get ready for the next big action against the Regime.  MAY DAY, MAY 1st.  This is a different tactic.  Indivisible is adding economic pressure to the movement now; a NATIONWIDE STRIKE/BOYCOTT DAY – NO WORK, NO SCHOOL, NO SHOPPING.  We are joining with several Labor partners and need to have as many people as possible participate, if it is to be effective.  We need to demonstrate that The People have power, and we will use it.  I do not have details yet.  There is a kick-off call on Tuesday.  So stay tuned.  And go out and have those conversations.

I’ve added below a picture from our NK3 Sandbar event and a couple of signs from Boston for your enjoyment.  Look for more photos/videos from the Sandbar on our website soon.

Thank you!!

Marilyn Lagrow
