9/11/26. Defend Democracy today, S Hero 4pm & tomorrow in Alburgh 11am.

Good morning, Indivisibles – As we head into the weekend, just a reminder that there are two honk and wave events to participate in and take action beginning this afternoon.

SOUTH HERO DEFEND DEMOCRACY PROTEST – FRIDAY

Join us today, Friday, September 11th from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in South Hero near the Worthen Library.  Please see the following note from South Hero H&W Team Leader Berney regarding this afternoon’s event:

I was so hoping to be able to lead the Friday H&W this week. But John’s injuries are quite critical even though he was sent home. I feel very nervous about leaving him alone. His needs are immense. We luckily have our younger daughter and family living in South Hero. They have been an immense help throughout this terrible time. Mary and Frank Datilio have again volunteered to lead the group and will probably do this for a while until I feel comfortable with him being alone. Please let our members know for me.

Many Thanks, Berney

ALBURGH PROTECT OUR VOTE HONK & WAVE – SATURDAY
Take action to protect the vote this weekend by participating in our new honk and wave tomorrow on Saturday, September 12th from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM in Alburgh.  Please meet in front of the cemetery on Town Highway 55 where there is plenty of parking.  This is a great opportunity for members in our northern islands to participate closer to home and for those with busy weekday schedules.  From Alburgh H&W Team Leader Kate:

Help us Protect Our Vote and spread the word to encourage others!  All are welcome.  Come meet Indivisible members, new friends and neighbors.   Feel free to bring signs, flags, banners and musical instruments. We will have extra signs if you don’t have one.  Bring a chair if you’d prefer to sit.

If you haven’t been able to come to the Indivisible weekly honk and wave gathering in South Hero, but want to join in on the fun, this weekend hour in Alburgh is for you!

Safe and peaceful weekends to you all.

Andrea Carbone
