Berney’s report on HONK & WAVE: People showed up last week! We were so pleased to see all of the people who showed up last week. What a great feeling to be a part of this very vocal group. Thank you all very much for being there. The cars and trucks rolling by waved, smiled and honked loudly in support of what will be so very important in the November elections. What is this important action you ask? MAKE A PLAN TO GET OUT AND VOTE! Do you need a ride? Contact us…. we can help to get you there.
On another note: John took a nasty fall down the 20 plus stairs in his workshop. He was very badly bruised all over his body. The good news: no bones or skull broken. However, his face looks terrifying and the top 2 spinal cord segments are cracked, #1, #2. He will be wearing a neck brace for a long time. A big “Shout Out“ to the Grand Isle Rescue squad. They raced him to UVM Medical Hospital quickly and basically saved his life. John will not be able to be at the Friday Honk and Wave this week. I am hoping to be there but not definite yet. Mary and Frank will be hosting and will have the bag of posters etc. You all know who they are. They usually stand at the end of the line closest to the Brewery. Hope we have a huge turnout! BTW: Our son-in-law just put up some important signs at the RT.2 end of the Tracy Rd. corner in South Hero.

The post card team is in full swing leading into the Midterms. It is not too late to join the effort to get more people to vote in Swing States and help flip the Congress!! Just send Doug an email at and he will get some postcards to you. I am in awe of how dedicated and productive this Team is!!! Consider joining them.
Here is a message from Doug: Good Afternoon Postcards Warriors! The Midterm elections happen in just 61 days. Our Mail On dates are much sooner. Texas-Sept. 23. North Carolina-Michigan-Ohio on Oct. 12 (or thereabouts.)The polls (if we can trust them) still indicate that Democrats will take the House of Representatives and that the Senate is still in play. Taking both would be magnificent! Alaska(R)-Maine (R)-Michigan (D)-Ohio (R)-Texas (R)-North Carolina (R) are all in play. Democrats have to hold what they have and flip 4 seats to take control of the Senate. So let’s keep our foot on the gas. You have picked up 850 cards over the last three weeks! ❤️ I ordered and have cards mmediately available for Michigan and Texas. Send me an email and I will package them up and leave them on my porch or deliver them (I no longer leave them in mailboxes.) Keep up the good fight! Doug
