Hello Indivisible: Read the latest VT Indivisible Digest, with news from Indivisibles all across Vermont. It has been a “terrible, bad, awful, week” for Donald Trump. This has been a week of frustration for him, for sure.
- Iran refuses to let him end the war with Iran.
- Netanyahu refuses to let him end the war with Iran.
- Putin refuses to end the war against Ukraine
- Gas prices are way above $4.00
- Inflation is still above 3%
- The lawsuit alleging vandalism of the Reflecting Pool, was WITHDRAWN. And declared the fault of a botched repair job by Trump’s hand-picked (No bid process) contractor.
- The Senate Judiciary Committee refuses to vote to approve the nomination of Todd Blanche (who says he still has a personal attorney-client relationship with Trump) for Attorney General
- The Senate refuses to vote on the Save America Act
- John Thune is still Majority Leader of the Senate
- Trump’s poll numbers are horrible
And the list goes on …
Now, some of those things are definitely not good news, but some are. And the thought of Trump having a temper tantrum behind closed doors with his Cabinet, screaming and pounding the table because he does not like reality, I find somehow cheering. After all, the rest of us have to face reality all the time. It is good that he has to taste it occasionally, too.
And if you would like to hear even more good news, please read, “Extra, Extra”. It was sent to me this morning, by one of our members. The media is so focused on the latest atrocity or the latest absurdity, that they miss, or skim over, the good stuff. So enjoy, for a change.
